From the exotic reaches of the island of Java in the Indonesia archipelago, 9th Street Coffee offers our distinctive Indonesian Colonial Java. The Dutch began cultivating coffee in Java in the 1600s. Centuries later, the island’s lush volcanic soil continues to nurture the development of this darkly handsome coffee. Velvety and rich, with intense flavors of dark chocolate and nuts, our Indonesian Colonial Java is grown at altitudes over 4000 feet above sea level. The subtle sweetness of Java coffee is brilliant when enjoyed black or gently enhanced with cream or sugar. Single-origin and 100% organic, 9th Street Coffee’s Indonesian Colonial Java is an exceptional example of this region’s unique beans.
